A Certified Fire Investigator through the International Association of Arson Investigators, Jeff Tanski has owned Veritas Fire Consulting since 2009. In this role, he leads the company in performing fire investigations and scene analysis to determine the origin and cause of fires. Veritas Fire Consulting also collects extensive data in order to create technical reports. Previously, Jeff Tanski held positions with a national forensic engineering firm and with St. Paul Travelers Insurance Company, one of the largest insurance companies in the United States.
Mr. Tanski holds an associate of applied science in fire protection technology and a bachelor of science in fire protection with a concentration in fire analysis from Akron University. He maintains membership in professional organizations such as the National Fire Protection Association, the Georgia Fire Investigator’s Association, and the Georgia chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators. When he is not working, he enjoys physical activities such as hiking and playing football.
